My first steps in fashion design were by drawing, photography and video. Welcome to the Château Borély at Marseille, for the "héritage de la mode surréaliste" exposition for which I had the opportunity to create a video thanks to our fashion design teacher  Jina Luciani. With the help of my Bachelor 1 classmates during the 2019 lockdown I created and edited a video which was exposed during summer 2020 among different iconic designers pieces od work...
(you can seea glimpse of my work from0:42 in this recap movie from the original exposition)
Then, for my Bachelor 1 in fashion design, I created this satin dress, which is the symbol of seduction and sophistication through my young self's eyes.
Then, those following drawings are pure imagination & inspiration from life.
I find fashion silhouettes extremely inspiring, that's why I draw them looking at people walking by the streets, sipping my cappuccino.
Inspired by one of my dear friends named Margot, this portrait aimes to express feminity and her etheral beauty.
My favorite moment is seeing those black lined bodies almost move under my fingers, bringing life to my imagination...
To me, the most important in designing human shapes wearing fancy or more sober clothes is to give them a character they can own and interpret efficiently.
You can also feel my love for communicating emotions by the portraits and their neat emotions, suggested by small details...
With love
- Charles
afterwards, I kindly invite you to discover my photography universe if you didn't do it already, to go further more in my world of creation...
